Terms of Service | Manor
Effective 15 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Manor Android app and this website (together, “Manor”), operated by Rida Lamhadri. By using Manor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Manor.
Eligibility
Manor is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. You must be at least 18 to use the app or join its Android test. During the beta, you also need an Android device and a Gmail address linked to Google Play.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Manor only for its intended purpose: tracking your own expenses. You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe others’ rights while using Manor.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Manor or its systems.
- Attempt to access data that is not yours, or abuse the beta sign-up form.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the service except where the law expressly permits it.
Your account
Manor uses your Google account to create and authenticate your Manor account. You must use a Google account you are authorized to control and protect access to your device and session. The displayed name can be edited in Manor; the verified email comes from Google and cannot be edited in Manor.
Service availability
Manor is offered on an “as available” basis, currently as a closed Android test. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We are not liable for any downtime or for changes to the service.
Pricing
Manor will be free during its initial release, and no credit card is required for it. Some advanced features may become paid later to help support voice-processing costs. If paid features are introduced, their pricing and terms will be presented clearly before you choose to buy them.
Understanding and accuracy
Manor uses automated speech and language processing to turn what you say or type into expense entries. This is not perfect: Manor can occasionally misunderstand an expense. For example, the amount, category, or date. You are responsible for reviewing your entries and correcting anything that is wrong; every entry is editable.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your journal and for keeping your own records where you need to. Manor is a personal note-taking aid, not a system of record for accounting, tax, or legal purposes.
No financial advice
Manor helps you record and review your spending. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in Manor should be treated as such. Decisions you make based on your Manor journal are your own.
Intellectual property
Manor, including its name, design, and software, is owned by Rida Lamhadri and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software beyond using the app and website as intended. The expense content you enter remains yours.
Termination
You may stop using Manor at any time and delete your account and associated data as described on our Data deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manor is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Manor.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of your relationship with us.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Manor evolves. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Manor after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
